To determine if you have a compatible version of Windows Media Player, perform the following steps:
Click Start, point to Programs, and then point to
Accessories.
Point to Entertainment, and then click Windows Media
Player.
In Windows Media Player, click the Help menu, then click
About Windows Media Player.
Check the version number that is displayed. If the version displayed starts with "6.1" then you have
a compatible version of Windows Media Player.
Note: If you are using a version of Microsoft Windows in a language
other than US English, before you install MSN Explorer we recommend installing
versions of the above components that match your Windows language. MSN
Explorer will install US English versions of these components if you do not have
them.
After you click the install button you may see a
gray "file download" dialog. On that
dialog, please choose "Run this program from
its current location."
Windows 95 Users:
If you have compatible versions of the above Windows components:
Click the install button to install MSN Explorer.
If you need one or both of the above Windows components:
Click the button to the right to install the version of MSN Explorer that contains the additional components.
Windows 98 or Windows 2000 Users:
If you have compatible versions of the above Windows components:
Click the install button to install MSN Explorer.
If you need one or both of the above Windows components:
Click the button to the right to install the version of MSN Explorer that contains the additional components.
